How to Remember What to Talk About in Therapy
A low-friction capture system for the moments you otherwise remember too late.

Use the event–reaction–reason format
Record the event, your reaction in your words, and why it may be worth discussing. One or two sentences are usually enough.
Review instead of rewriting
Before therapy, scan what you already captured. Select entries; do not create a perfect narrative. Your therapist can help with the exploration.
Protect the note
Use device protections, choose discreet reminder text, and delete information you no longer want stored. Do not put sensitive details in calendar titles or notifications.

How detailed should a capture be?
Detailed enough that you recognize the moment later, but no more than you are comfortable storing.
Can I capture positive moments?
Yes. Positive changes and effective choices can be useful to remember.
